Fit & Footwear Compatibility Guide
Step 1 — Measure Your Shoe's Internal Depth
Remove the factory insole and measure the internal depth from the heel cup to the toe box. Minimum available depth required:
- 2.3 cm Lift → at least 1.5 cm of internal depth
- 3.3 cm Lift → at least 2.0 cm of internal depth
- 4.3 cm Lift → at least 2.5 cm of internal depth
Step 2 — Choose Your Lift Height
| Lift Option | Height Gain | Best Shoe Styles | Avoid |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2.3 cm | ~¾ inch | Sneakers, loafers, casual flats | Very low-profile slippers |
| 3.3 cm | ~1¼ inch | Running shoes, ankle boots, high-tops | Narrow dress shoes, slim oxfords |
| 4.3 cm | ~1¾ inch | Boots, chunky sneakers, wide-toe shoes | Low-cut shoes, slim-fit dress shoes |
Step 3 — Check Toe Room
Put on the shoe with the insole inserted. Your toes should lay flat with no forward pressure. If toes feel cramped, go down one lift height.
Step 4 — Break In Gradually
- Days 1–2: Wear for 1–2 hours to allow your foot to adjust.
- Days 3–4: Extend to half-day wear.
- Day 5+: Full-day comfort wear.
Not recommended for: open-toed shoes, sandals, or shoes with pre-built thick orthotics.
